The Ping G20 Driver is for all ability levels. The external weighting of the G20 driver helps launch the ball high with low spin for maximum distance and accuracy. Distance is generated with a new version of ping g20 driver 's proprietary high-balance-point shaft technology, which allows the golfer to swing a heavier clubhead at the same speed with a high moment of inertia. The g20 driver face on the 460cc head is larger, creating more forgiveness across the hitting area and the G20's head rotation is neutral, allowing the golfer to deliver the clubface straight at impact.

The Ping G20 Driveris for all ability levels.The G20 driver has a heavier head than G15 (7 grams more than standard) for greater force at impact. Additional backweighting and a more elongated face shore up misses. (Ping "shaved" the head in the low toe area to meet the 460cc size limit.) The reconfigured clubhead — 5 percent higher moment of inertia on heel or toe hits — combines with a light, 45.75-inch "high-balance point" shaft (TFC 169D or TFC 169D Tour) to boost clubhead speed and distance. Specifically, the TFC 169D shaft has more flexible tip and butt sections for softer feel.

Ball speed and provide consistency across the entire hitting surface. The new PING G20 driver designed TFC 149D high balance point shaft allows for a five gram increase in head mass (without increasing swingweight or overall weight) which results in higher ball speeds and an increased moment of inertia.

 

 

 

Ping g20 driver with the size and shape of the longer head look much better than the G15 and the sound and feel at impact were excellent and the ball took off on a slightly higher but more penetrating trajectory than the G15. The Ping G20 driver also comes with Ping's own TFC 169D shaft that seems a little more stable than in the past thanks to the higher kick point and feels quite powerful. There is also a Tour version of the shaft that will give you a lower trajectory and this will be excellent for those with higher swing speeds, so make sure you get custom fitted as the combination of shaft and loft will be important.

  The G20 has a huge face and provides a ton of confidence at address. The metallic gray crown is subtle sexy and the bottom graphics are best Ping has produced. I've played the G10, G5, Rapture V1 and V2 and the G20 is similar in performance. Long when hit on the screws, and inconsistent at times. The spin is lower than you'd expect from a game improvement driver.

  Great club! I Hit the G15 on the course and bought the G20 stiff shaft. Workable, solid hits down the middle. Was amazed how i added more shaped shots to my game.
